This Division has operated until now, in the area of surface mining & mineral
processing, involving pre-concentration in-field, of various minerals, or processing
run of mine for further treatment (i.e. heap-leach or heavy media separation).
It is this field, that the company's B.O.T. expertise has been accumulated.
Generally, each plant is purpose built, and various items of equipment have been
designed and built in-house to provide plant of the capacity and capability required.
Such equipment includes high capacity mobile screening plants (1000 tonnes per hour).
Heavy duty Primary Trommel Screens, Boulder Bounce Units, and high capacity mobile crushing plants.

The company has recently broadened it's sphere of operations within this field by
forming strategic alliances with two major Process Engineering Companies in order
that the existing skills and competencies of B&E International can be leveraged in
skills of operation and maintenance of other technologies such as dense media
separation, flotation and optical sorting technology.
